Daniel Jim Antony is associated with Kotak Mahindra Bank where he deliver the 'Run the Bank' (App Support, SRE, DevOps, Observability tools, Service Management) function for Treasury, Wholesale, Commercial and Consumer Banking business applications servicing through Desktop, Netbanking and Mobile Apps with focus on technology transformation through reliability engineering, automation, observability tools; operational excellence through service management. 

 

Prior to Kotak, Daniel was with Market Intelligence division of S&P Global Inc leading Capital IQ Pro and Capital IQ Desktop flagship Product Portfolio; running cloud, reliability engineering and IT services, delivering stability, reliability and performance of its technology platforms. 

 

Daniel brings 20+ years of experience, serving as Director, SRE, Cloud Engineering & IT Services, where he led migrations to cloud, data centre exits and consolidated to strategic data centres across geographies.

 

He was instrumental in setting up operations engineering teams in Asia and re-engineering critical market data systems; consulted on service management framework, to maturing on Observability and High Availability Infrastructure offerings. 

 

Prior to this role, Daniel held techno-managerial roles at Thomson Reuters running technology operations, system architecture and reliability engineering teams, where he set up operations centres in Asia, run data center consolidation and migrations of market data, trading and feed systems. 

 

He launched his career with Madura Coats in 2000 changing the network landscape from VSATs, Leased Lines to I-VPN, running enterprise messaging and ERP upgrades. He went on to work for Coats Plc in the UK, to deliver global comms across 66 countries and roll out their flagship Business Intelligence Platform across 77 countries. 

 

Daniel holds a Bachelors degree in commerce from Karnataka State Open University & a Software Engineering Diploma from Aptech.
